Shannon Hamilton, MPH candidate in Environmental Health Sciences, spent the summer doing mosquito surveillance with Washtenaw County Public Health. She was looking into whether certain types of mosquitos that can carry and spread the Zika virus had made their way to Washtenaw County, Michigan.
